Christmas in the air

This may be the first Christmas I've truly looked forward to in years. This year it's loaded with strife, but balanced with joy and new beginnings. That's an upside which has been missing for far too long.

Today, the last school day before Christmas break. Some of our sending schools are off, and other students just won't show up. Some of of them will, and most of the best surely will. It's going to be a good day... a smooth, and happy one. We'll probably pass on theory and let them just work at an easy pace in the shop. The kids get a break today....

Yesterday, a decent day. I woke early, with brain up to speed more than usual. Suddenly an oddball computer problem turned into an easy fix, and a friends notebook was happily hooked to a wireless network ten minutes later. This was a vexing problem I'd been unable to solve... and Dell service had been powerless to figure out as well.

Also yesterday... the Rose quartz pendant I made this weekend found a home. The first women to touch it, put in on and refused to take it off. I like it when my craft work makes someone happy.

Friends... I woke in a good mood today :-)

I hope ya'll have as good a Christmas as I expect to!

Merry Christmas!
