Riding to work each morning, I tend to get lost in my own thoughts. Wandering along in my inner world, leaving enough consciousness outside to be an alert driver... I spend my time thinking about people I care about, or maybe my kids in class. I go over situations, think about options, speculate about outcomes....

But once in a while I surface to find the world has a surprise for me, now that my eyes are open to it.

This morning... a blazing sunrise watching my back as I drove. Onto a black and white world the most amazing colors poured out, with a searing flash in it's center.

Pretty kewl......

This weekend is for relaxing. Choices are many, but tops of the list are a day at the range, and a solo trip to the PA Ren Faire. Either or both..... but I intend to enjoy the time.
