Welcome home

.

What better way to welcome someone home, than have them arrive to a clean house and a plate of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies?

I'm glad your friend got to go home!

I bet those cookies smell wonderful...

Thanks Rev!

Yup, she is home, and home health care will be by in the morning to begin their functions. So far, so good.

The cookies were fair (a few burned) but somehow they are already gone.

In health and happiness, sometimes the small things make the biggest difference. Feeling at home, safe, and comfortable is powerful medicine.

Simple pleasures indeed...thank you for your thoughtfullness. You are a true friend. My Grandmother said food is an expression of love. Not the chicken-pattie kind of love, but the home made chocolate chip cookies kind...even if burned a little.

Even more than the cookies, she is very blessed to have such a friend as you.

That was a nice touch. I know she appreciates all you do for the family. Give her a hug for me and tell her I am glad she is home with her family.
