.
Dinner tonight, and with a bonus of dessert as well......
Roast beef, cooked in the Brigid fashion. Rubbed with a seasoning mix, then seared at 500 degrees before turning the heat down and slow roasting till medium rare and tender. The roast is cooked on the rack, with a pan underneath steaming quietly... loaded with broth, rosemary and onions. The pan catches drippings... all simmered together... and then turned into gravy to complete the dish.
Brownies..... made from a Pillsbury mix. The vegetable oil called for in the recipe is replaced with melted butter, and the eggs are jumbo double yokes. After the mix is spread in the pan, chunks of Ghirardelli dark chocolate are spread across the top. Then, crushed cashews join the chocolate.

Butter, extra yokes AND dark chocolate? I somehow remember a conversation about eating healthier.
Like I did better with bread pudding for breakfast. :-)
Looks really good. . bet Shirley and Al both have a bite.
I only ate ONE (1)!!
And.... I split and stacked about half a cord of wood today. That has to count for something!
I just saw my spelling "extra yokes". That must be a reference to the wood pile work.
Food or slow motion hand ejection of the Beretta? Both enjoyable, but I like the food photos best!
Man, between you and Brigid I never catch a break! Food....*drool*...;)
