Saturday.... a PPC shoot.... My first... (erp)

The club holds PPC shoots (Police Pistol Competition?). I noticed the calendar shows this Saturday as a match, it's open to all comers, and I'm always willing to try any competition that I have the gear for. Turns out, I have whats required... although it remains to be seen if I can compete. 50 yard off hand target shooting with my Commander? Hmm.... this has the makings of an embarrassing morning (g).

Does anyone have any suggestions or tips? Practice ideas? Advice? Tums?
