Lunch time food porn, the grilled burger version

.
After looking at these little gems, I had a taste for grilled burgers that just wasn't going to quit. Today for lunch, I put a stake in the heart of that craving.....

Black Angus ground beef, grilled over a hot flame till medium rare.
Topped with slices of pepper bacon and a big slab of blue cheese. Lovingly bedded on leaves of fresh lettuce, with sliced carrots and celery in attendance. On the side, Ken's blue cheese dressing with extra chunks of blue cheese and bacon mixed in. Underneath the whole, to catch the delightful juices and make for a clean plate, a fresh corn tortilla.

The burger and the bacon were cooked on the grill, with the air outside just chill enough I could see my breath. It was eaten on the deck as well, and I wasn't alone. The smell of bacon, and beef on the grill, pulled the dog like a magnet.

Watching every move, each flourish of the spatula.... waiting on his moment. A piece of bacon casually held in my hand, lowered slowly into range... and it was gone as if by magic. Thunder had struck (g).
